Summer Ball 2009

Posted by in Rants Comment on this

Seems Brett Domino is apparently headlining this year’s Bangor University summer ball…will this turn out to be an excellent choice? or less memorable than a bad bout of amnesia?

Of course it looks equally likely is just a ploy to push the rumour mill away.

Either way, not my cup of tea, personally.  I’m just going to rest my head on my desk for the rest of lunch…any comments?

Right its been so long and I really must appologise for that, however sice I was last here I have been writing the dissertation to end all projects, or thats what it felt like! anyway, after costing nearly £100 to print and have bound I have finished it all and am now loving the little bit more freedom that I have!
the one thing I managed to do last term was play in Bangor’s got talent grand finale, and whilst there will be more on that later I thought I’d blog one of the pieces I played (although not quite so well!)

Hope you enjoy!

In an odd mood tonight.  I’ve packed a bit more of my room away into bags.  Luckily subdued enough to sleep, think I may take advantage of this fact in a bit.  Earlies tomorrow.

Anyone feel like a project?

Got a bit bored today and stumbled upon a guide on how to create your own multi touch surface.  May give this a go if I can gather the cash together to do it, interactive coffee table anyone?

Tom's Music Picks – Farewell to the Fairground

Whats this? Another music pick?  Oh yes, it’s double the music picks for your money.  This time the genius Yuksek remix of Farewell to the Fairground by the White Lies.  If you like what you hear, NME have this track to download in all its 320kbps glory.

You’d be forgiven for thinking we at HB have a bit of a thing for Radiohead tracks, personally I just think Alex is doing a very good job of warping my musical tastes.  Anyway, here’s the Gigamesh remix of Everything in it’s right place, yet another relaxing Radiohead mix.  Enjoy.

Still in work

You know,

I was meant to leave work at 4pm, having been here at 8am…it is now 5:15.

It’s my first day back, and I feel stressed and angry again already.

Mind you, this I accept as everyday.  I have however now seen the voluntary redundancy packages on offer.  Don’t look great.

I’m going to buy some wine on the way home methinks.
