A Ghost Town

Am having a bit of an odd day, so here’s a surreal feature for you courtesy of Time magazine.   The Kangbashi district in Ordos, Inner Mongolia was built to accommodate and entertain some 1 million people – however, hardly anyone has moved in yet.

Looks sort of like a shiny, non-radioactive version of Pripyat (as seen in Call of Duty 4…and the Chernobyl nuclear disaster).

Crazy Hats

This image is perhaps the best use of Photoshop ever.  In other news, giant poo bubble threatens to burst in Indiana.

Looks like this may be a time to avoid Indiana, especially when the suggested solution to this “requires a gas mask, a small boat and a Swiss Army knife.”



Odd things one finds…

When just prepping my phone for a full reset, I came across this. I have no idea why I wrote this down, who said it, why they said or even if I was so drunk as to not comprehend it. But it just amused me:
