Watch_Dogs is an upcoming open world action adventure game due for release this November on PC, as well as current and next-generation consoles. I’m very much liking the concept and feel of the game so far, and it looks pretty stunning to boot. You can check out the new trailer below, as well as this gameplay footage from last year.

Now, I generally follow the Battlefield series pretty closely, and became borderline addicted to the multiplayer gameplay the third game offered. With that in mind, today saw the release of in-game footage and trailers for the next instalment in the franchise. Due out this Autumn, Battlefield 4 is to make use of the new Frostbite 3 engine, and will be released on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Pretty excited by this so far.

You may have caught today’s music pick on the UK launch trailer for Assassins Creed 3 (which coincidentally is out today). ‘Radioactive’ is by Las Vegas based indie rock quartet Imagine Dragons, and is taken from their debut studio album ‘Night Visions’.
Towards the end of last month I was lucky enough to go to a preview event for the then upcoming first person slasher ‘Dishonored’. During the walkthrough, I was struck by the endless possibilities for creative, hilarious gameplay, although I wasn’t totally sold on the game as a whole.
Anyway, it’s been out for a couple of weeks now, and Battlefield 3 YouTube video legend birgirpall has had his way with it, with brilliant results. Incidentally, if you’re ever looking for a gaming related chuckle, his channel is well worth a watch.
The folks at Airsoft GI have gone and teamed up with Northern Five Entertainment and produced a Left 4 Dead fan film, which towards the end turns into some strangely familiar, brilliantly geeky dream. Or is that just my dreams?
Oh well. It’s pretty cool anyway.
Tonight I happened to come across the visuals used during Snow Patrol’s 2009 tour for the album a Hundred Million Suns. Not quite sure what else to say about this, apart from it looked bloody awesome live.
