Have you ever been in that situation where you’re trying to find the right colour to match up to something, or to use as a background, filler, or a font colour etc.
And the measly colour swatch just hasn’t been able to deliver…. (see fig a.)

Nope me neither, but if ever such an occasion should arise try this website, it has a palette bigger than i’ve ever seen and well, it’s liable to give you an epileptic fit… whats not to like?
So Storm FM have an upcoming comedy night, and I was tasked with making a poster to advertise the event…
The idea we came up with was a Brick Wall backdrop, laminate stage flooring red curtains, mic stand and spotlight with the shaddow
Which was all well and good, except it had to be HiRes enough to use on an A3 poster, and that limits your options slightly, there wasn’t much available without paying for an image from a Stock website. So I made it myself…
Heres my ’3D’ stage set, made from scratch in photoshop.
And how it was made,
I sampled some Bricks, Wooden Flooring, Curtains, Mic Stand, and Mic Separately, modified the sizes accordingly then tried to add perspective, spotlight & shaddow
